My Spiritual Journey
It all started for me in 2015, I moved away from home and had been living in Boston for about a year. I had just made a new friend through my modeling agency at the time, little did I know she would be crucial to my awakening. She had been dabbling with different card decks, crystals and had her own coach she was working with. She slowly introduced me to these things, and one by one, and I became hooked.
I should backtrack a little bit I suppose, to explain the events that lead me to searching for myself. In the beginning of 2014 I was living at home still, in a relationship that I had given my entire self to. That relationship ended just days after my birthday and I was devastated. I had given so much of myself to that relationship and the relationship before it that I had completely lost myself. I spent the better part of 2014 grieving and spiraling out of control until I hit rock bottom that summer, and that’s when it really hit me. I could not heal here, I felt constantly triggered to the point that I was just numbing the pain with whatever was around me.
At this point, I had wanted to move to Boston since 2012, but I had some legal troubles and was also in a relationship that kept me here so I put that dream off. Once that relationship had ended and I had rid all charges from my record, I was free to finally fulfill that dream of moving to Boston. So I commuted down a few times to interview for jobs, but couldn’t find anything. Eventually I just decided I would go and live with a friend on her couch and find the first service industry and/or retail job I could find.
Flashback to 2015, and I was figuring life out on my own. I found a room to rent and moved off of my friends couch into my own room. I had two jobs, and had just signed to my first modeling agency that summer. I was pursuing my modeling dreams and living on my own and it felt good. I finally started to see that there could be more to life and I wanted to explore what my heart was truly wanting. I bought my first deck of cards, The Medicine Cards deck that is all about what medicine different animals have to bring us. Then I bought a few crystals that called to me. After that, I got the opportunity to meet and work with my friends coach, I was on my way.

Since then, I’ve bought more card decks and more crystals, learning more and more about them as I go. I’ve learned meditation and made that and journaling a bigger part of my routine. I started following more people in the spirituality world, and learning more about all of it. I’ve even invested in a coach of my own.
Flash forward to 2020, when the pandemic hit, I was working six days a week at two restaurants. I was completely, physically, and mentally exhausted trying to make enough money to pay my bills and be able to save up for my current dream of moving to San Diego. Once I became unemployed, I naturally fell into a slump of depression, and parts of my shadow self became exposed as I had nothing but time to sit with them. Once I started working through all of that, I started meditating more, and I shifted my mindset to one of abundance rather than scarcity. I began actually saving money for my San Diego dream, but even better than that, my calling came to me in meditation…

…I am meant to not only continue this work for myself, but also to guide others through their own journeys of connecting with their highest selves, which brings me here, sharing my journey with you all. If you are here, I believe you have found your way into my life for a reason. There is a calling within all of us, our souls choose to come into this world for a purpose, and everyone’s is unique to them.
